Welcome to a traditional Tahitian village with its thatched roof fare (huts).
Nestled on the shore of the lagoon, the colourful village depicting “Ancient Tahiti” unfolds the diversity of the traditional art: weaving, sculptures, tattoos, shell lei making… The artisans share their knowledge while demonstrating their savoir-faire.
Participate to the opening of an authentic Ahima’a –Tahitian underground oven, and let your palate be teased by the flavours it contains: roasted pig, fresh fish, chicken Fafa, Uru, Taro, Bananas, Fei… a blend of smells and tastes unique to the islands.
Then let the show begin with one of the largest dancing group of French Polynesia and its fifty dancers and musicians. Through their enchanting dances and songs, the performers will tell legends dear to Tahiti and Her Islands.
And, under the stars that once led the Polynesian sailors, a spectacular Fire Knife dance make for the grand finale of this cultural immersion.
